Always your name on it.

For leaders who have plenty to say and no time to write it.

Why The Ready Word

Ready when you are.

Ready on time

First drafts within two or three working days, guaranteed, and faster when it’s needed, by agreement.

Checked before it’s said

Every figure, name and claim is verified before it reaches you, so nothing comes back to bite you on stage or on air.

Your thinking, made clear

Talk it through, send notes, or forward a messy email thread. I’ll turn it into whatever you need.

How it works
1

Brief

A short conversation, voice note or bullet list: the audience, the tone and the message.

2

Draft

A fact-checked first draft in your voice, written for the room, the screen or the feed.

3

Refine

Two rounds of revisions, then a final version ready to deliver, publish or send.

Discretion is the service.

Every engagement is covered by a confidentiality agreement as standard. Drafts go to you and the people you name, and nobody else.

I never list clients, and I never claim the work. Nobody needs to know.

Retainers

Monique Swanepoel
The writer

Monique Swanepoel

I have spent close to a decade writing the words that other people say: CEO speeches, interview preparation, thought leadership, media statements and the decks that keep large organisations pointed in the same direction.

I am a native English speaker. My background is in energy and B2B technology, and I write for leaders in any sector. I work fast, I check everything, and I take on every brief with the same rule: the room should remember the message, not the writer.
